Yoga Journal and Jivana Heyman, founder of Accessible Yoga and cover star of the latest issue of Yoga Journal, are hosting a free, 30-minute class on January 20, 2022 at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST—and we’d love for you to join us!
Hosted live on YJ’s Facebook page, Yoga for Courage Compassion will explore guided meditation, asana, and pranayama to help you find courage and compassion in the midst of stressful and anxious times. We’ll also consider how connecting inward can lead to more compassion for ourselves and for others. The class will be taught in a chair with mat versions offered for all the poses. All levels of practitioners are welcome.
To celebrate the class, we will be giving away 10 sets of Jivana’s two books: Accessible Yoga: Poses and Practices for Every Body and the recently released Yoga Revolution: Building A Practice of Courage Compassion.
To enter the drawing, please fill out the form below. Winners will be chosen in accordance with the Official Contest Rules.
We look forward to practicing with you on January 20!
